The Ansbach Court Garden sits beside the Residenz and extends the palace visit outdoors. Its clipped avenues, lawns, and formal geometry are part of the same margravial world as the state rooms, but they offer a quieter way to take in the town's courtly past.
It is especially pleasant in good weather, when you can pair the palace interiors with a slow loop through the garden. Ansbach is not short on Baroque polish, and this is one of the easiest places to feel it without needing a ticketed tour.
