Dachau's dining scene is modest but solid Bavarian fare, with a few international options mixed in. The old town around Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse has the best concentration of restaurants.
Zieglerbräu is a local brewery and Bavarian restaurant on Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse 8, the obvious choice for traditional food and house-brewed beer. For Italian, Bassano on Jakob-Schmid-Strasse 44 serves reliable pizza and pasta. Bräustüberl on Schlossstrasse 8, near the castle, is another good spot for Bavarian classics in a traditional setting.
