Dachau is compact enough to walk around the old town, but buses are useful for reaching the concentration camp memorial and the S-Bahn station. Bus 720 and 722 loop through the town centre, while bus 726 runs directly from the S-Bahn station to the memorial site. The S2 line connects Dachau to central Munich in about 25 minutes.
