Glashütte

Glashütte is a popular modern bistro near the Luisenplatz, with a menu that rotates with the seasons and leans toward creative European cooking — market vegetables, good regional meat, and a short but well-chosen wine list. The interior is bright and lively, with exposed brick and large windows, and the crowd is predominantly university-educated locals in their 30s and 40s. Reservations are advisable for dinner on weekends.

The lunch menu offers particularly good value: two or three courses for a reasonable fixed price, served quickly enough that you can make it back for an afternoon at the Landesmuseum.
