Umgestülpter Zuckerhut

The Umgestülpter Zuckerhut is a sharply angled half-timbered house whose name means "upended sugarloaf". Built around 1500, destroyed in the Second World War, and reconstructed in 2010, it is one of Hildesheim's most eye-catching old-town facades.

It is a small stop, but an easy one to fold into a walk around the market square and the city's surviving medieval churches.
