Kröpeliner-Tor-Vorstadt, usually shortened to KTV, is Rostock's liveliest inner neighbourhood west of the old town. Its streets are lined with late-19th-century apartment blocks, cafes, small shops, and bars that show a younger side of the city.
It is not a single monument, and that is the point. Wander here for dinner, a drink, or a change of tone after the brick Gothic churches and harbour sights.
