The Bermuda3Eck is Bochum's drinking quarter — a compact grid of streets that gets noticeably busy from Thursday onwards when students from the Ruhr University descend. Bars here range from standard German pubs to livelier venues with live music. The name comes from the joke that people who enter don't come out sober.
