A 1930s cafe-konditorei on Löhrstraße that survives in something close to its original form: a high-ceilinged room with marble-topped tables, a long pastry counter, and waiters in waistcoats. The cakes are the best in town — try the Schwarzwälder, the Bienenstich or any of the seasonal fruit tarts.
Coffee, hot chocolate, breakfast and a small lunch menu of soup and salad. A useful retreat from the cobbled Altstadt streets when it rains.
