Holm

Quiet old fishing quarter on a peninsula by the Dom

Holm is a small fishing quarter that occupies a peninsula just south of the Dom, and it feels genuinely apart from the rest of the town. The streets are narrow, the houses are low, and the tiny graveyard at the centre — ringed by fishermen's cottages — has barely changed in 150 years. It's not a tourist attraction so much as a surviving pocket of old harbour life. Worth a slow walk through.
