Agios Isidoros is the main beach near Plomari, a few kilometres east along the coast road. It is a long stretch of mixed sand and fine pebble backed by a row of tavernas and a small seasonal resort. The water is clear and the setting — a sheltered bay with wooded hills behind — is attractive. In high summer it fills with Greek holidaymakers; in May, June, and September it is much quieter.
The tavernas here serve fresh fish and the ouzo selection is, predictably, excellent — this is still Plomari's territory. The beach is accessible by road from Plomari and by a summer water taxi service from the harbour. Agios Isidoros village has a small church and a few older houses; the beach itself is the main draw.
