Firiplaka Beach

South-coast Milos beach backed by pale volcanic cliffs and clear, usually calm water.

Firiplaka Beach is one of the more rewarding south-coast beaches on Milos, with pale volcanic cliffs, shallow clear water, and enough space to feel like more than a quick photo stop. The colour of the rock gives it a very Milos look without the crowds of the island's most famous moonscape beaches.

It works well as a proper swim-and-linger beach. Summer services vary by season and weather, so bring water and shade if you are not relying on organised sections, and check wind before crossing the island for a beach day.
