Ismenion Hill

Ismenion Hill holds the remains of the Sanctuary of Apollo Ismenios, one of ancient Thebes' important religious sites. The ruins are fragmentary, but the hill gives a sense of how sacred places sat just outside the old urban core, tied to myth, ritual, and the city's political life.

It is best seen as part of a Thebes history walk rather than as a standalone archaeological showpiece. Pair it with the Cadmea and the archaeological museum.
