Koronisi and Romvi Islands

Small uninhabited islets in the bay, reached by water taxi from the harbour

Three small islands sit in the bay opposite Tolo: tiny Daskalio with its whitewashed chapel, the larger pine-clad Romvi, and Koronisi between them. Caique water-taxis run from the village harbour throughout the day in summer, dropping passengers for an hour or three of swimming from rocks far quieter than the village beach.

Romvi has a few small pebble coves and shade under the pines; Daskalio is a quick stop to see the chapel and swim from the rocks. Bring water and shoes — you can walk between coves on Romvi if you don't mind the heat. Last boats back around sunset.
