Tolo is a beach village first and an archaeology base second. The morning routine is the beach; the afternoon is for the small islands offshore, the ruins of ancient Asine on the headland, or a drive to one of the great Argolid sites — Nafplio, Mycenae, Epidaurus — none more than an hour away.
