The long crescent of fine sand that defines the village. The water is sheltered by the islands offshore, which keeps it calm and warm — among the warmest sea temperatures in the Peloponnese in summer. The shallow gradient makes it ideal for families with small children: you can wade a long way before the bottom drops away.
Loungers and umbrellas line the central section, free public sand at either end. A continuous strip of cafés and tavernas runs directly behind. Best at the southern end if you want quieter; busier and more amenities towards the village centre.
