The Zsólyomka Wine Cellars form a cellar row tucked into a small valley above Sátoraljaújhely. It is part of the Tokaj-Hegyalja world, but with a more local, hobby-winemaker feel than the polished tasting rooms in better-known wine towns.
Come for a walk even if no cellar door is open. The setting, old doors, and slope toward the hills make it a good companion to the Magas-hegy chairlift and a reminder that wine here is landscape as much as drink.
