For a small West Cork town Bantry has a disproportionate number of good places to eat, drawing on the seafood landed in the bay, the cheeses and meats produced in the surrounding hills, and the weekly market on the square. Most kitchens take their cue from local supply rather than imported fashion, and the prices are reasonable by Irish standards.
