St Brendan's Church

A small Gothic Revival Anglican church at the top of the town, built in 1818 as the Church of Ireland parish church for Kilmocomogue. It is plain by the standards of the period — a single nave, a square tower, lancet windows — but well kept, with several memorials to the White family of Bantry House inside.

Worth a few minutes' detour on a walk back from the bay; the door is usually open during the day.
