Kilkenny has a strong pub culture for a city its size. The best pubs are concentrated around John Street, St Kieran's Street, and the bridges over the Nore. Kyteler's Inn on St Kieran's Street is the oldest and has live traditional music most evenings. Langton's on John Street is a Kilkenny institution that pulls in both locals and visitors in equal measure.
