Kinsale has a good range of bars, from proper old-fashioned Irish pubs to wine bars and gastro-pubs that blur into the restaurant category. The harbour-facing spots are busy in summer; the bars on the back streets tend to be quieter and more local. Several of the best bars are outside the town itself, reached by a short taxi or a walk along the waterfront.
