Niarbyl is a small cove on the west coast of the Isle of Man, the sort of place where the island's geology and sea light do most of the talking. The name is often translated as "the tail", and the rocky shoreline gives wide views toward Ireland on clear days.
It is best as a slow coastal stop from Peel: walk a little, look at the folded rocks, and stay for the evening light if the weather is kind. The place is modest in facilities but strong in atmosphere, especially when the Atlantic is moving.
