The main beach is Vasto Marina, a long, broad stretch of pale sand running south from the harbour. It is well-served by lidos in summer, with a good mix of paid umbrella-and-lounger setups and free public sections. The sand shelves gently, so it is family-friendly.
For something quieter and wilder, head north to Punta Aderci: pebble beaches, low cliffs, and stretches of unsupervised coast. Vignola beach, in between, has a clutch of beach restaurants and an easier road approach.
