Villa Vignola is the most respected fish restaurant in Vasto — a small white-washed dining room a few minutes north of the marina, run by the Bolognese family for three generations. The kitchen takes deliveries from the morning's catch and improvises a daily menu around it.
The brodetto alla vastese is the dish to order, but the antipasto of raw and cooked seafood and the spaghetti alle vongole are also reliably good. Lunch in summer fills up; book ahead.
