Ristorante Salvatore

Salvatore sits on a terrace just below the main piazza with an unobstructed view over the coast — you eat looking out over rooftops and olive groves to the sea below. The menu focuses on the Campanian coast: spaghetti alle vongole, seafood risotto, grilled fish, and the local desserts. The food is solidly good rather than remarkable, but the setting is exceptional and the service competent.

It is more expensive than Cumpa' Cosimo and more oriented toward tourists, but the terrace table at sunset is one of the genuinely pleasurable experiences Ravello offers. Book a table on the terrace side; the interior is ordinary.
