By train: Bellaria has its own railway station on the Rimini–Cesena line, which connects to the main Bologna–Rimini coastal route. From Rimini, trains run frequently and take about 10–15 minutes; from Bologna, change at Rimini. The station is a short walk from the seafront. Trenitalia operates the regional services.
By bus: Regular bus services run between Rimini and Bellaria along the SS16 coast road. The journey takes around 20–30 minutes depending on traffic and stops. Bus services are operated by Start Romagna and are a practical option if you are already in Rimini without a car.
By car: Bellaria is easily reached via the SS16 Adriatica, the coast road linking the Adriatic resort towns. From the A14 autostrada (Bologna–Taranto), exit at Rimini Nord and follow the SS16 north for about 10 kilometres. Parking in town is plentiful out of season but fills up quickly in July and August — aim for the car parks behind the beach rather than trying to park on the waterfront streets.
Nearest airport: Federico Fellini International Airport in Rimini (RMI) handles seasonal charter and low-cost flights, primarily from northern Europe in summer. Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ) is about 120 kilometres away and offers better year-round connections.
