Latina is about 60 km south of Rome. By train, Trenitalia regional services run from Roma Termini to Latina Centrale in about 70–90 minutes; there are also faster Intercity connections. By car, take the Via Pontina (SS148) south from Rome — it runs directly into the city centre. The A1 motorway from Naples passes through the area; exit at Frosinone and take the SS156 west. There is no commercial airport in Latina; Rome's Fiumicino airport is the nearest, about 60 km away.
