Sabaudia is about 100 km south of Rome. The fastest route by car is the SS148 Pontina, which takes about 90 minutes from the centre of Rome; the last stretch off the main road runs through pine forest before it reaches the town.
There is no train station in Sabaudia itself. The nearest stops on the Rome–Naples slow line are Priverno-Fossanova and Monte San Biagio; from either, a regional bus connects to Sabaudia in 30–40 minutes, but the schedule is thin and a car is much more practical. Cotral runs direct buses from Rome's Laurentina terminus several times a day in summer.
