Albenga is compact and easy to navigate on foot. The historic centre, the beaches, and the main shopping streets are all within walking distance of each other. Car parking is available on the edges of the old town. In summer the roads through the piana can be congested with holiday traffic; leaving the car and walking is usually faster.
