Arenzano's seafront promenade runs the length of the town, lined with pastel-painted apartment blocks, ice cream kiosks, and a string of small private beach clubs (bagni). It is one of the most pleasant evening walks on the western Riviera, especially at sunset when the cliffs of Cape San Martino light up to the east.
Behind the lungomare, the narrow lanes of the old town climb gently toward the church. There is no major monument here, just a working Ligurian village atmosphere — alimentari, focaccerie, the smell of fresh basil from open windows in summer.
