Villa Negrotto Cambiaso, an elegant 19th-century mansion in the centre of Arenzano, now houses the town hall. The real reason to come is the park around it, a six-hectare landscaped garden in the romantic English style with palms, magnolias, a small lake with black swans, and an aviary.
Entrance is free and the park is open year-round. It is the most agreeable spot in Arenzano on a warm afternoon. Look for the small folly tower at one corner of the park and the remains of an 18th-century orangery.
