Osteria Mananan is the most reliable restaurant in Corniglia — a small, rustic place on Via Fieschi with a short menu of Ligurian classics. The trofie al pesto is made with local basil and properly sauced rather than just smeared. Anchovies appear in several forms: marinated, fried, or stuffed. The wine list is local and short: Cinque Terre Bianco and Sciacchetrà, which is as it should be.
The osteria is tiny, seating perhaps twenty people, and reservations are advisable in summer. It closes Monday. Prices are fair for the location — expect around €15–20 for a full meal without wine.
