Varigotti Beach

Varigotti is a small fishing hamlet 4 km east of Finale Ligure with the most beautiful beach on this stretch of the Riviera — a wide arc of pale sand backed by pastel-coloured houses in faded orange and pink that reflect in the clear water. The village retains an authentic character that the more developed parts of Finale have lost, with small boats pulled up on the beach and fishing families going about their business alongside the tourists.

The beach here is partly free and partly let out to beach clubs; the free section at the western end is the best. The water is clear and the bay is sheltered. Varigotti is easily reached from Finale Ligure by bike along the coast path or by bus.
