Cremona is on the railway line between Milan (about 1 hour 20 minutes by regional train from Milano Centrale) and Mantua. From Milan, direct trains run several times daily; from Brescia there are also regular connections. The station is about 20 minutes' walk north of the city centre, or a short taxi ride.
By car, Cremona is on the A21 motorway between Piacenza and Brescia. It is about 90 minutes from Milan, 45 minutes from Brescia, and 45 minutes from Parma. There is parking near the city centre; the Piazza del Comune itself is closed to traffic.
