Ascoli's principal art gallery, housed in two long ceremonial wings of the Palazzo dell'Arengo on Piazza Arringo. The collection is built on confiscations from the city's suppressed monasteries — major panels by Crivelli, Titian's portrait of Pope Paul III, and a strong holding of 17th-century Marche paintings.
The galleries are arranged chronologically across two floors. Allow ninety minutes; ticket includes the smaller Pinacoteca dell'Ottocento with 19th-century work. Closed Mondays; check seasonal hours.
