Rocca del Garagnone is the broken shell of a medieval hilltop castle in the Alta Murgia, built in the Norman-Swabian period and later ruined by earthquake. The site is more atmosphere than masonry now: pale stone walls blend into the rocky ridge, with open views across the plateau for hikers and cyclists who make the climb.
