A small Benedictine monastery perched on a low promontory a kilometre east of the cathedral, built in the 11th and 12th centuries. The Romanesque church and the cloister survive in good condition. The whole complex is little visited and feels rural in a way Trani's harbour does not. A pleasant 15-minute walk along the coast from the centre brings you to it; views back over the cathedral are some of the best in town.
