A 16th-century palace on the small piazza in front of the cathedral, built by a Spanish noble who had been granted local lands by Charles V. The façade is plain Renaissance, with a heavy stone portal and a row of arched windows on the first floor; the rear courtyard is more characterful. The palazzo is privately owned but the ground floor occasionally hosts art exhibitions — worth a look if open. Otherwise admire it as part of the cathedral square ensemble.
