Porto Rotondo eats well but expensively. The restaurants around the piazzetta target the yacht crowd and price accordingly; a pasta dish at a seafront table in July will cost more than a full meal in most other Sardinian towns. That said, the quality is generally high, the fish is fresh, and the setting is hard to fault.
For cheaper eating, the village has a small supermarket and a few take-away options at the marina's edge. Alternatively, Olbia — 15 km south — has a full range of restaurants at normal Italian prices.
