By ferry, Olbia is the major port for Sardinia's northeastern coast, with connections from Genova, Livorno, Civitavecchia, and Piombino. Journey times range from 4 to 10 hours depending on origin.
There is no direct public bus service to Porto Rotondo. From Olbia, taxis and hire cars are the practical options.
