Su Nuraxi is located 1 km outside the village of Barumini, about 50 km north of Cagliari. By car, take the SS131 north from Cagliari toward Oristano, then follow signs for Barumini via the secondary roads — the drive takes around 50 minutes. Parking is available at the entrance to the site.
By public transport, ARST buses from Cagliari run twice daily to Barumini, stopping near the site entrance. The journey takes about 90 minutes. Check current timetables before travelling, as schedules change seasonally and the service is infrequent. Many visitors combine Su Nuraxi with the Giara di Gesturi plateau (accessible from Barumini) and the Castello di Las Plassas to the south.
