Su Nuraxi is itself the main attraction — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the best-preserved nuraghe complex on the island. The surrounding area adds modest but worthwhile diversions: the village of Barumini has a small ethnographic museum, and the hilltop castle at Las Plassas is visible from the site and worth a short drive.
