Cefalù has a solid restaurant scene for a town its size, concentrated along Via Vittorio Emanuele and the streets near the lungomare. Seafood is the main event — the catch is fresh and the preparations tend toward the simple. Avoid anywhere on the main tourist strip that has laminated menus with photos; there are better options a street or two back. In summer, book ahead for dinner at the better restaurants.
