Punta Lena is the most ambitious restaurant on Stromboli, a terrace built on the cliff below the road with a long view down the coast. The kitchen leans on Aeolian classics — capers from Salina, swordfish with mint and orange, spaghetti with bottarga — done with restraint and excellent ingredients.
Reservations are essential in July and August. Sunset bookings disappear weeks in advance. A meal here is not cheap by Sicilian standards, but it is among the better restaurants in the whole archipelago.
