Canazei has no railway. The nearest stations are Bolzano (about 70 km, on the Brenner line from Munich and Verona) and Trento (110 km, on the Brenner and the Verona–Brescia line). From either, take a SAD or Trentino Trasporti bus up the Val di Fassa — roughly two hours from Bolzano via Karerpass or two hours from Trento via Predazzo.
By car, the village sits at the end of SS48 and is the highest settlement reached without crossing a pass. In winter, snow chains may be mandatory; check before driving up.
