Folgaria is best reached by car. The village sits on the SP84 road that climbs from Rovereto in the Adige valley — the drive takes about 25 minutes. Trento is about 40 minutes north by car, and Verona (with the nearest large airport) is roughly 90 minutes south on the A22 motorway.
Bus connections from Rovereto to Folgaria are operated by Trentino Trasporti and run several times daily. The journey takes around 45 minutes and is a practical option if you are arriving by train via the Verona–Brenner line, which stops at Rovereto. Services are more frequent in the ski season and reduced in the quieter spring and autumn months.
