The medieval castle that dominates Vinci's skyline, built by the Counts Guidi who controlled much of the Valdarno in the Middle Ages. Its tower is visible from the valley below and provides the best orientation point in town. The Museo Leonardiano occupies the castle building today, so visiting one means visiting the other.
