Vinci's main draw is Leonardo da Vinci, and the town does him justice with two complementary museums. The Museo Leonardiano in the castle focuses on his inventions and scientific drawings; the Casa Natale up the hill is the actual farmhouse where he was born. Beyond the museums, the medieval castle and the surrounding footpath network give you plenty of reason to linger.
