Housed in the handsome 15th-century Loggia del Capitano, whose facade still carries Contarini's frescoes from 1560. The collection is small but personal. One room is devoted to Eleonora Duse — letters, photographs, and mementos of the great actress who made Asolo her home. Another preserves Robert Browning's spinet and personal effects. Manuscripts and portraits of Queen Caterina Cornaro round out a museum that is really about the people Asolo attracted.
