Every June, the wide flat sands at Piazzale Zenith host the Bibione Sand Storm — a weekend of motorbike, quad and side-car races on a banked track laid out directly on the beach. The event draws thousands of spectators and is one of the bigger off-season draws for the resort.
The races themselves are old-school: sand cones, churning rooster tails, plenty of crashes. Free to watch, with food trucks and a music stage on the dunes.
