Old Long Bazaar

Rebuilt Ottoman-era bazaar street that keeps Peja's old trading quarter alive

Peja's Old Long Bazaar is the city's old commercial spine, a narrow run of shops and workshops with the scale and street life of an Ottoman market quarter. Much of it had to be rebuilt after the Kosovo War, but the pattern of small storefronts and the habit of lingering over errands survived.

It is not a polished museum street. Come for the everyday rhythm: hardware, textiles, small cafes, and the sense of Peja as a town shaped by trade as much as by the mountains behind it. It pairs naturally with the nearby old houses and mosques in the centre.
